Corelli New Crystal strings are spun on a unique stabilon core, a synthetic material that offers a rich, warm sound. This D string for viola has a medium draw and is spun aluminium. These strings can be mixed with steel, gut or synthetic strings, an advantage that adds several possibilities for balancing the sound of an instrument. We recommend this string as a 2nd chanter for hurdy-gurdies (instrument pitch greater than or equal to 350mm). This chanterelle in D4 allows you to play in the D/G chord.
